Welcome to Victory Chapel of Sanford, Florida! We are a church of ordinary and common people on a journey together to better understand, follow, and relate to an extraordinary God. Whether you have yet to attend a church or you have investigated many, be assured that we would be thrilled to have you as our guest any Sunday or Wednesday service. We believe God calls us to love our neighbors and our community with simple acts of service. Hopefully, by serving them they will come to believe that God loves them, too. We also believe God calls us to grow in our faith; that we each play a role in the strengthening of others.

OUR ROOTS
Victory Chapel of Sanford is a Christian Fellowship Ministries' Church (CFM). CFM, Inc. was founded in 1970 by Pastor Wayman Mitchell. A spiritual fire was launched that is spanning the globe. Now, over 3,200 churches have been planted in over 130 nations of the world with the number growing daily. From that, crusades and conferences sprung up that are touching tens of thousands every year. This church is a product of that vision and is working to see it expanded in the short time that remains before Jesus' return. God has given us a vision for the day we live in. Our message is simple, yet it is the cornerstone of all truth. Jesus Christ is the only hope for man's salvation and that is true with every person in every nation on the globe. In a world full of empty dreams and false promises is a truth which grows stronger every year, and that is Jesus Christ and Him crucified!
LOCAL LEADERSHIP
Pastor Myron and Jenny Leavitt have been serving in ministry leadership roles for over 20 years. They came to Christ as young people in the Jacksonville, Florida Victory Chapel Fellowship church and have been serving Him with their whole hearts ever since. Together, they raised two young men in church; Caleb, who is still actively serving Jesus in the Jacksonville congregation and Jacob, who went to be with our Lord Jesus in Heaven in August of 2015. Throughout the years of walking with Christ, the Leavitt's have experienced many trials- cancer and other health issues leading to loss of income, loss of loved ones, including their own son in a tragic car accident. Through it all, they have found Jesus to be a faithful and true friend who walks with his own through all of life's journey- the hills and valleys- and brings hope of abundant life here and in Heaven to come!After over 25 years of serving God in the Jacksonville area in various leadership capacities, they answered the call of God to pioneer a new church plant in Sanford, Florida. In April of 2018, they began the same way the disciples started churches in the book of Acts- in their home with Bible Studies and Church Services. They began to see God do a great and quick work and soon needed a building to meet in. The Lord provided the current location and has been building a powerful church where we are obeying the command by Jesus in Matthew 28:19 to "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations...". Pastor Leavitt and his wife welcome you and would love the opportunity to get to know you and your family.

Pastor Myron and Jenny Leavitt are from Victory Chapel Christian fellowship Church in Jacksonville, Florida, Pastored by Ron and Bridget Meyer, and affiliated with The Potter's House Ministries founded by Pastor Wayman Mitchell and his late wife, Nelda. Myron and Jenny Leavitt were saved and married in the Jacksonville church, where they served the congregation faithfully on the church staff and in various leadership roles over the years.
