One of the best ways to ‘Get Connected’ at The Door is to jump in and get involved. The Door Christian Fellowship exists as a local congregation to witness to the world the love of God as revealed in His Son Jesus Christ, our crucified, risen, exalted and soon-returning Savior and King. We seek to teach the Word of God and spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Our goal is the shaping and equipping of our church family so that disciples will be nourished and empowered to fulfill their God-ordained purpose. As members of the church, our desire is to bring glory to God through our public and private lives. We do this    by rejoicing in Christ Jesus; increasing in the knowledge of God through the study and application of the scriptures; by growing in Godly character; by practicing Biblical fellowship; by serving one another with our spiritual gifts, our time and our money; by proclaiming the Gospel in the San Antonio area, and to the ends of the earth.

Bible Study

Home Fellowships meet in homes or other easy to find locations weekly throughout San Antonio from October to April for fellowship, prayer, and Bible Study.  It's a great way to get connected and begin to feel like a part of The Door Christian Fellowship family.

The idea for these boot camps is to help teens strip away old attitudes and direction—and adopt a new destiny of pursuing God with their whole hearts.

Our nursery is staffed by trained and screened volunteers, health and safety procedures are followed in our nursery to ensure all children are cared for and loved with the highest standards.

Building a kids life starts at a very early age. The beginning stages of spiritual development are learning blocks that can help children discover early on how much God loves them.

Our nursery during church services (newborn to 2 years) gives children the opportunity to grow in a loving, caring environment that teaches life lessons in a biblical model. We have a nursery during Adult Sunday School for ages 3-11.

Men's Discipleship

Golden Age is designed to enhance the lives of The Door's married and single senior adults. Monthly bus trips are one-day excursions to sites of interest close to San Antonio. J-Squad Youth Group

The Door encourages its members to share the love of Jesus with the San Antonio community. Regardless of your interests, spiritual gifts, or talents, you can share what Jesus had done in your life. From door-to-door witnessing, to street preaching, to concerts/dramas in the community, the Gospel truly gets out of the four walls of the church and meets real needs.
